Cardiac CT showed significant plaque buildup and severe narrowing in several arteries. A wake-up call, even after bypass surgery. 

🔪 October 2, 2025 – Surgery Day

Appendectomy done. It’s strange how relief and exhaustion can coexist. Discharged the next day, sore but thankful. 

🩺 October 01, 2025 – October 02, 2025 - The Pain Continues

Ended up in the Moncton Hospital ER with severe abdominal pain. Waited 7:30 PM to 8:30 AM. Hours of waiting later, the diagnosis came in — appendicitis.

CT shows very severe atherosclerosis and extensive aortoiliac atherosclerotic calcifications and Lower thorax,coronary artery atherosclerotic calcifications.

Months of rehab. Slow, deliberate progress back to strength. Every walk was a victory.

Major heart surgery at Saint John Regional Hospital. A tough recovery, but it gave me time — something I don’t take for granted.
